Deepfake awareness training
Deepfake training: verify, even when the face is familiar
SecurityRing puts a deepfake video of one of your own leaders, made with their consent, inside a phishing simulation email. It asks for something unusual. Anyone who acts on it gets a lesson on that exact scenario straight away, and you see which teams acted on the request.
A quick video before tomorrow’s board call
Hi Alex, I’ve recorded a short update for you. Please watch it before the end of the day.

How it works
A real leader’s face, a safe simulation
Deepfake video is part of the same campaign flow as every other SecurityRing simulation.
Set up the leader
SecurityRing suggests leaders to feature. Each one gets a private consent link and adds a photo and voice sample, or a short speaking video.
Write the request
In the AI Builder’s Deepfake tab, script what the leader asks for, such as an urgent payment approval. Then review the watermarked video.
Build the email
The email carries the video behind a “Play video message” button, with a landing page that makes the ask. You approve each part.
Send
Choose the audience, test it on yourself and schedule it like any other campaign.
Deepfake calls are not live yet: voice-call (vishing) simulations are coming soon. Today the deepfake video is delivered inside an email simulation.
When someone falls for it
The lesson arrives straight after the slip
An employee who acts on the request lands on a short training page: a video that walks through the simulation they just received and its red flags, then a quick quiz. It is designed to take under two minutes.
In the report, you see who played the video, who acted, how fast, and which departments, seniority levels and executive cohorts were most exposed. Download it as PPT or PDF for leadership, your risk committee or your auditor.
The click becomes a lesson.
Consent and control
Built to use a leader’s likeness responsibly
Consent first
A leader’s avatar is created only from media they submit through their own private consent link.
Off until it is enabled
Deepfake video is enabled per workspace by SecurityRing, on request. Until then, deepfake recommendations and the Deepfake tab stay hidden.
Review before anyone sees it
Every generated video is reviewed as a watermarked preview and approved in the AI Builder before it can go in a campaign.
Pause or revoke consent
Revoking a leader’s approval pauses the campaigns that use them, and the generated media and cloned voice are deleted when the retention period ends.
A deepfake simulation uses a real person’s likeness. Agree the programme with HR, legal and the leader first. SecurityRing’s consent flow covers the leader’s media, not your internal approvals or how you inform employees about simulations.

How does a SecurityRing deepfake simulation work?
SecurityRing creates a short deepfake video of one of your own leaders, with their consent, and delivers it inside an email phishing simulation behind a Play video message button. The video makes an unusual request, such as approving an urgent payment. Anyone who acts on it gets a short lesson straight away, and the report shows which teams were most exposed.
Whose face and voice are used, and how is consent handled?
Your own leaders, only with their consent. Each leader gets a private consent link and submits their own photo and voice sample, or a short speaking video. You review every generated video as a watermarked preview before it can be used. Revoking a leader's approval pauses the campaigns that use them, and generated media is deleted when its retention period ends. Agree the programme with HR, legal and the leader beforehand.
Can SecurityRing simulate deepfake voice calls?
Not yet. Voice-call (vishing) simulations are coming soon and are not available today. What is live now is deepfake video of your leaders embedded in email simulations. WhatsApp phishing simulations are in private beta and not generally available yet. We'll update this page when voice-call simulations launch, rather than describing them before they are real.
What happens when an employee falls for the deepfake?
They land on a short training page straight away. A video walks them through the simulation they just received and its red flags, followed by a quick quiz, designed to take under two minutes. In the report you see who opened the video, who acted on the request and how quickly, broken down by department, seniority and executive cohort, with PPT and PDF export.
How do we turn on deepfake simulations?
Deepfake video is enabled per workspace by SecurityRing, so ask us in a demo or through your SecurityRing contact. Once it is on, deepfake ideas appear among your recommendations and the AI Builder gets a Deepfake tab. You then invite the leaders you want to feature, write the script, review the video and build the email like any other campaign.
